AWP has over 50 years of experience as a manufacturer of valves for refrigeration industries. After the German Unification, the company AWP GmbH was re-founded in 1992 in the original factory in Prenzlau. Situated northeast of Berlin, the factory is located on an industrial business park where since 1972, industrial valves of all categories have been manufactured.

The product range of valves from nominal diameters of DN6 to DN500 encompasses a wide variety of functions, designs and connection types, this is further enhanced by our singular ability to manufacture customer specific solutions.

As part of the International GEA group, GEA AWP is a specialist company for the development, design and manufacture of valves and components for use in industrial heating and refrigeration plants and machinery. The company is based in the town of Prenzlau since 1972, it is located 100km north from Berlin and employs approximately 100 staff and workers.
